Inspiration - Knit Top

Today's inspiration is this cute little top by Layette 148 New York. This top is made from a cotton/lycra with a scoop neckline with a ruffled detail. The short sleeves also have some type of detail added. It could be a little bit of a ruffle but looks more like a twisted binding. Price tag: $198.00 and it's dry-clean only. Check it out - Ruffle trimmed top.

This would be another item that could be duplicated easily and think of all the money that could be saved. Here's the perfect pattern for this type of a look - The Perfect T-Shirt pattern by Pamela's Patterns. It comes with a jewel, scoop, and v-neck options along with 4 different sleeve lengths. This pattern also has a companion pattern with different necklines and sleeves - New Necklines & Sleeves for the Perfect T-Shirt pattern by Pamela's Patterns. This pattern adds a ballet, boat, square, and funnel necklines with both bell and flare sleeves. All can be mixed and matched. What a lot of variety from two patterns.

Happy Sewing!
