Skirt, Skirts, Skirts….

I love wearing skirts and I have found some interesting skirts for you today.  Leather and suede are in abundance.

Isn’t this a great looking skirt?  This is the Turner Zip-Front Suede Skirt from Layette 148 New York.  It is a exposed zip-front skirt with architectural patchwork and topstitching, an a-line silhouette, and side-entry pockets in goat skin.  Price tag:  $798.00.

Michael’s skirt by Silhouette Patterns is similar.  You would need to add the a-line silhouette.

This is the Mylon Suede skirt from Joie.    This is a little longer skirt with an a-line silhouette and concealed  button front in goatskin.  Price tag:  $598.00

This is the Emaline Skirt pattern from Serendipity Studio. This skips the concealed button front but gives you three lengths and three styles.

I wonder how the Nu-Suede from Kaufmans or the Cuddle Suede from Shannon would make up in either of these patterns.  Both fabrics are machine washable which is easier care than the leather. If anyone is interested in a group purchase, let me know.

Hope your inspired to create something beautiful.

Happy Sewing!
